Ready to share some of my bone marrow

1984, I remember walking on the beach on my way to the wave at el Porto in Southern California , great swell, offshore wind on a warm september Indian summer afternoon.

The beach was empty except for a group of young stylish women and men, there were about 8 of them, I couldn’t help it and a big smile covered my face, they smiled too and said hi , I walked towards them, introduced myself and I quickly realized that I belonged at the beach , that a 9-5 wasn’t for me and that most importantly I had to create every opportunity to express myself and generate revenue That way.

At the time I was working for my uncle at his factory in LA, a menial delivery job that offered early free afternoons, I was a kid, yet already an independent.

I am curious and inquisitive, intrigued by the inner working of things and I have a very personal point of view that I enjoy sharing.

Cooking has been my biggest respite and I enjoy it very much, your support and contribution will fund the large convivial dinners I so enjoy hosting and our tables will grow larger.

I am very fortunate to have the studio in Biattitz so close to home in Guethary, being surrounded by work, materials and my tools fills me with wonder and excitement.

I like making things, I enjoy the process of learning something new, molding and sculpting, binding materials together, sewing and working in different scales.

I champion objects with character, function and utility and I appreciate beauty all around.

I like to be surrounded by friends and to follow every idea their presence inspires, I make most things with this very basic intention, my work in your hands reinforces my stance in this world.

I am looking forward to hear from you, to make this space a womb for dialogue and discourse.

It’s the first time that I will have a single place to share all my body of work And I appreciate wholeheartedly your support, if you are a new friend , my love and gratitude follows a virtual embrace, thank you in advance , I hope my work will be of sustenance and value.
